Consultation Group for BSP with Children and Adolescents

Welcome! This quarterly drop-in consultation group is designed for Brainspotting practitioners with at least Phase 1 training who are working with children and adolescents. Participants are invited to share clinical questions, present challenging or “stuck” cases, explore transference and countertransference dynamics, discuss developmental considerations, and receive support and feedback from fellow practitioners. The group provides a space to share Brainspotting successes, resources, and insights on working with children and teens in a collaborative and supportive environment.

Cost: $85 per consultation group

Time: 7:30 am-9:30 am Pacific Time

Pre-Requisite: Brainspotting Phase 1 required.

I'm honored to be a Brainspotting Child and Adolescent Consultant approved by Dr. Monika Baumann, developer of the training Brainspotting with Children and Adolescents. I have specialized in working with children and adolescents for 40+ years, beginning during my master's-level training. My clinical internship included both inpatient and outpatient Child and Adolescent Services, and my doctoral dissertation focused on a developmental diagnostic model for the assessment and treatment of adolescents. Since earning my doctoral degree in 1985, I have continued to specialize in child and adolescent treatment.

I was trained in Brainspotting in 2008 and in Brainspotting with Children and Adolescents in 2019. Since then, I have assisted Dr. Monika Baumann in numerous Brainspotting with Children and Adolescents trainings.
